| There is a diverse community in our neighborhood with a wide range of interests. Our orgnizations are great venues to meet people and get to know your neighbors. Here is a list of a few.
The Park Hill Land Conservancy
Dedicated to preserving the open spaces within our neighborhood and greater Yonkers, The Park Hill Land Conservancy meets monthly to discuss issues from easements and land preservation to strategic planning and fund raising. This not-for-profit organization has already been critical to preserving several parcels within our neighborhood from development. [More about the Conservancy...]

The Luther Burbank Garden Club
The Garden Club meets monthly to enhance and beautify our neighborhood. Working with the Yonkers Parks Department to plan and design the beautiful gardens on the malls of Rumsey Road, Lewis Parkway, Wendover Road and Travers Avenue, the Garden Club also contributes to plantings and gardens at St. Joseph's Nursing Home, and The Hudson River Museum. The Luther Burbank Garden Club also sponsors the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony in December.
Membership is open to all. For more information about the Garden Club, please contact Rosalee Flynn, President.
The Park Hill Adopt-A-Highway Program
Administered by the Park Hill Land Conservancy, the Park Hill Adopt-A-Highway program helps keep the area from north end of Rumsey Road down to the highway entrances clean and beautiful. Clean up is done on a Saturday morning about once a month. Look for dates on the calendar of our home page. It is a great opportunity to contribute a little manual labor with your neighbors. For more information, contact Terry Joshi.
The Park Hill Racquet Club
Located in the center of Park Hill, the Racquet Club is a great place to play tennis, swim, meet neighbors and enjoy many recreational activities. A part of Park Hill since the turn of the century, the Racquet Club offers lessons, events and activites for all ages.

The Park Hill Book Club
Reading contemporary and classic literature, the Park Hill Book Club meets every six weeks to discuss the "Book of the Month". A new book is selected at each meeting from member recommendations to be read and discussed at the next meeting. The group is very relaxed and always enjoys new participation.
